Step into the lively ambiance of Parisian Brasseries, where sprawling terraces spill onto bustling streets in the heart of the city. It's the rendezvous point for the who's who, whether they're craving a rich cup of coffee or a quintessential French delicacy. Here, the rhythm is constant, with patrons flowing in and out all day long. Service is swift, yet polished with a hint of French sophistication. Picture-perfect dishes arrive on quaint tables adorned with pristine white linens, embodying a blend of casual charm and timeless elegance. Within these walls, casual meets class, echoing the spirit of the 'belle epoque'—an era marked by optimism, refinement, and progress. Amidst this enchanting setting, the cutlery gleams with a personality that perfectly complements the ambiance: vibrant, elegant, and effortlessly chic.
The 24-piece set is for 6 people and consists of 6 dinner knives, 6 dinner forks, 6 dinner spoons and 6 dessert spoons. Each cutlery piece is composed of a stainless steel blade, a plastic handle and an aluminum ornament in the middle. The materials are of very good quality. The blade is 1.5 mm thick, does not bend and is made of 18/10 stainless steel. The handle is made of plastic. The color will not wear off because it is applied throughout the handle (and not as a thin coating on the surface).
The knives have a fine serration. This keeps them sharp and cuts well. The set is supplied in a cutlery cassette made of European softwood: nice to give as a gift and handy for the cutlery drawer.
The cutlery is suitable for the dishwasher, where we recommend washing it at a temperature of maximum 55˚ C.

Technical information handle:
PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) is a polyester thermoplastic of high strength, stiffness and hardness. This plastic is wear-resistant and can withstand high operating temperatures. The handles of this cutlery are also reinforced with fiberglass.
Technical information blade:
AISI 430 is a stainless steel to which chromium has been added. This type of steel is often used for cutlery because it is easy to shape (spoons and forks), has a strong gloss layer and does not rust easily.
AISI 420 is a stronger stainless steel to which carbon has been added in addition to chromium. This steel is less easy to bend and is very suitable for making knives. This steel is extra hardened with a heat treatment (HRC52/56), so that the cutting surface is less likely to be damaged and remains sharp for longer. It is also highly resistant to rust formation.
HRC52/56 is the standard that indicates the hardness of the steel. This type of steel will not break easily and is less susceptible to rust formation.
18/10 stainless steel is a type of steel to which 18% chromium and 10% nickel have been added. Chrome gives the steel a durable shiny finish and nickel protects against rust. There are also cutlery steel types (18/8 and 18/0) to which less or almost no nickel has been added. These are slightly less resistant to rust.
