The salad cutlery has a stainless steel blade, a plastic handle and an aluminium ornament in the middle. The materials are of very solid quality. The blade is 1.8 mm thick, does not bend and is made of 18/10 stainless steel. The handle is made of acrylic, a strong plastic with a smooth glossy effect. The colour will not wear off because it is applied throughout the handle (and not as a thin coating on the surface).

The salad fork and salad spoon are 25.5 cm long. It is a pleasantly in-hand salad cutlery that is not only suitable for serving salads but can also be used excellently for serving vegetables, potatoes, pasta dishes, oven dishes and one-pot dishes.

The salad cutlery is dishwasher safe. We recommend washing it at a maximum temperature of 55˚ C.

PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) is a transparent thermoplastic better known as acrylate. This strong plastic can be easily modelled into all kinds of shapes when heated.

Technical information blade:

AISI 430 is a stainless steel type to which chromium has been added. This type of steel is often used for cutlery because it can be shaped well (spoons and forks), has a strong gloss layer and does not rust quickly.

18/10 stainless steel is a type of steel to which 18% chromium and 10% nickel have been added. Chromium gives the steel a durable shiny finish and nickel protects against rust. There are also types of cutlery steel (18/8 and 18/0) to which less or almost no nickel has been added. These are slightly less resistant to rust.
